It’s time to take yourself seriously.
In your life and business.
If you don’t take yourself seriously, no one else will.
You set the tone.
Women play too much.
Women play with their lives…
Women play with their businesses…
Women play in their own faces…
And wonder why they get the results that they get.
Women fear taking themselves seriously because that means they have to go ALL IN.
They have to take responsibility.
They have to assume the weight of a HIGHER STANDARD.
And women fear that.
When playtime is over, women freeze.
When it’s time to meet a higher standard, women freeze.
When it’s time to take on responsibility, women freeze.
Women are risk-averse.
Women like comfort.
This will work against you in your business.
This will work against you if you desire success.
Success is RESPONSIBILITY.
More success = more responsibility.
The more you grow and mature as a woman, the more you embrace and enjoy responsibility.
Responsibility is EXPANSION.
Responsibility is proof that God and life has deemed you worthy of MORE.
Responsibility is stewardship.
If you don’t embrace responsibility and expand your capacity for it, you’ll NEVER be successful.
This fear is what causes the fear of success, especially in women.
Women express this fear in their business by…
Being half-ass. Doing a little bit here and there. INCONSISTENCY.
Your inconsistency is a reflection of your UNSERIOUSNESS.
Treating their business as a hobby or non-profit. Not embracing or enforcing the standards of running an ACTUAL business…
This is a sign of your lack of commitment, fear of responsibility, and in turn, your UNSERIOUSNESS in your business.
An overall lack of AUDACITY…
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it from now till Kingdom come…
Women don’t have enough audacity.
Taking yourself seriously requires AUDACITY.
Taking yourself seriously requires BOLDNESS. Confidence.
Confidence in yourself to handle a higher standard.
Confidence in yourself to enforce that standard to those who come in your space.
Your audacity…
Your boldness…
They’re indicators that you BELIEVE in yourself.
They’re indicators that you TRUST yourself.
And in turn, others will believe in YOU.
Others will trust in YOU.
You set the tone.
You set the standard, and people will fall in line.
